My whole idea of success was to finish in a prestigious university, pass each term flawlessly, take the board exam once, get a good paying job and be at the top of the food chain

I WAS TOTALLY WRONG

And I am very proud to say that most of the things I mentioned above

Is the OPPOSITE of what,who and where I am right now.

Instead of pouring my energy to the COMMON IDEA of most people and their expectations on me…

Doing so.. My Life was and still filled with warmth amidst the coldness I feel everyday being away from my loved ones.

Back Home

People around me — excluding my immediate family members of course

Made me feel like I am ..No One, Nothing, Nada..

I was exposed in a very competitive environment that surviving is my daily goal..

I was judged, bullied and unappreciated by people I once cherished..

CRAB-MENTALITY is a normal thing I experience back then

THAT IS WHY

I never expected a day like this would ever come

wherein I’d feel more alive and appreciated in a place away from home..

How did I say so???

Simple

CANADA

Cultivated & Nurtured me by bringing out my hidden potentials
Encouraged me to keep going no matter how hard things can get
Gave me a helping hand when I was on the edge of a cliff, ready to give up and fall
Opened opportunities for me to develop and enhance not only my skills but my personality as well

Who would’ve thought that a simple ordinary girl from Philippines

Would excel and be recognised in foreign land?
Appreciated by people who barely knows me?
Cared and Love by those who aren’t related to me by blood but treats me more like a true relative/family member.
